Vojvodina split with coach Minić and named Vlade Djurović instead

Vojvodina Srbijagas changed the head-coach for the second time in the 2008/09 season on Wednesday when the club’s managing committee decided to split with Milan Minić and named Vlade Djurović instead of him.

The turbulent period in Novi Sad continues since the team again fell at the bottom of the NLB League standings after five defeats in a row. The club immediately reacted and waived coach Minić, who took over the team at the end of November, and acquired Djurović whose task is far from being easy in the remaining seven rounds. The team which will finish at the last place of the standing will not have the right to participate in the 2009/2010 NLB League.
