Branko Maksimović is the new head coach of Vršac
He has been promoted after he spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach
Vršac have started preparations for the new season with a new head coach being in charge of the senior team. The club announced that Branko Maksimović has returned to Vršac!
Maksimović has worked in this team for 3 years as assistant to Miroslav Nikolić, while in the next season he will be the team head coach.
"I have spent 3 wonderful years in Vršac and I am glad that I have returned to this town. Looking at the club's tradition, its infrastructure and everything it has given to basketball throughout history, Vršac deserves to be among the top teams in the region. My wish is to gather a group of young and talented players who will work hard and form a respectable team," said Branko Maksimović.
Vršac also announced that team captain Miloš Savović is staying in the club, as well as Milan Munižaba and Milan Radivojević. So far, Vršac have signed 3 new players - Nikola Silađi, Strahinja Jovanović and Nikola Ćirković, while more arrivals are expected in the days to come.
