Cibona names Slobodan Subotic head coach, signs Langston Hall
The point guard moves to Croatia
The former Split, Cedevita and Union Olimpija tactician has agreed to be at the helm of the Volwes of Tuškanac for two seasons with an option of an extension for an additional one. It is expected for him to be officially presented by the club to the press in the following days.
Slobodan Subotić spent the majority of his playing career at Union Olimpija Ljubljana and Aris of Thessaloniki. He began his coaching career in 1994/95 season. He coached some of the most eminent names of the European basketball by now, including Union Olimpija, Cedevita, Split, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and many others.
It is the 25-year old point guard Langston Hall, the American with experience of playing in Europe for teams like Giorgio Tesi Pistoia and Pallacanestro Cantu, as well as German Telekom Baskets Bonn.
Last season he played for Kolossos of Rhodes, for which he averaged 10.6 points, 4.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game and with Cibona he agreed upon a 1-year contract.
