KK Cedevita signs Ryan Boatright

t is official! Ryan Jamar Boatright has signed contract with Cedevita and he will join his new teammates today.
Considering the fact that a one-month contract of Pierre Jackson has expired and that the American player might return to USA where he will try to get himself a contract in the NBA, Cedevita did not wait for too long to sign another point guard.
He spent the college career at the famous Connecticut University. Afterwards, at the 2015 NBA Draft he was not picked, but he signed with the Brooklyn Nets, with which he played in the NBA Summer League and four games of the NBA Preseason. He got released by the Nets afterwards and moved to Detroit Pistons on a short period, to move to NBDL League team Grand Rapids Drive. Later that season he moved to Italy to play for Orlandina Basket.
In the 2016 NBA Summer League Ryan averaged 5.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2 assists in 14.4 minutes spent on court on average. He then moved to Chinese side Guangzhou Long-Lions.
Boatright should join the rest of Cedevita team for the evening practice and is expected to be in their squad already during the week, when they will face Lietkabelis in the Eurocup.
