The members of the 2015/16 ABA League Ideal Starting Five are:

Jacob Pullen
– The point guard is for sure one of the key pieces of the puzzle of Cedevita team, that were hunting the second place after the regular season, but in the end fell short by one win. The American-born Georgian international averaged 14 points, 3.2 assists and 1.4 rebounds per game and it turned out that when he is in the right mood, it is very unlikely for Cedevita to be unsuccessful.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot
– This is the first ever season for Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot in the ABA League, but it was enough for him to prove his undisputedly high potential. The French youngster, who was also a serious candidate for the Top Prospect award for the season was the best player of young and talented Mega Leks squad, which he led towards their historical success – a place in the ABA League Playoffs – for the first time in the club's history. Timmy averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game and impressed everyone with his attractive plays – so it is not a surprise that he has taken the high second place in the voting for the Ideal Starting Five.

Tadija Dragićević
– It is no surprise that the player, who was a leader of the team, that took the first place in the standings after the regular season has won the voting contest for the Ideal Starting Five. Dragićević has previously won the MVP of the month award in January and twice took the MVP of the round honour. By averaging 16.33 points per game he became the top scorer of the ABA League regular season and he combined his scoring achievement with 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest.

Miro Bilan
– How could one imagine the Ideal Starting Five of the season without the Regular Season MVP? Miro Bilan topped the list of ABA League players in individual valuation this season, having averaged an index rating of 20.81, which is almost 2 more than the second placed Sava Lešić. He was also league's sixth best scorer and third best rebounder, having averaged 14.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2 assists per game. The player, that received the highest number of votes at the center position amongst the ABA League head coaches had previously, besides the MVP of the Regular Season, also become MVP of the months November and December.

Maik Zirbes
– Crvena zvezda Telekom big man has exploded as the end of the regular season approached, reached his peak just when it was necessery to help shift his Crvena zvezda Telekom over Cedevita to grab the second place in the standings and this is probably what earned him the place in the Ideal Starting Five. The ABA League MVP of February, that has averaged 13.4 points and 5.5 rebounds throughout the season. It might be unusual to have two centers in the starting lineup, but despite the fact that he did not qualify for the top five in the coaches' voting, he managed to take his place in the Ideal Starting Five thanks to his popularity with the fans, which put him on the first place amongst all players.
