In the first round, he had the overall index rating 44 in the game between Mega Leks and MZT Skopje Aerodrom... It turned out that it was the highest valuation of any player on a single game in the entire season!
It is interesting to mention that only three players managed to reach index 40 after that: Dejan Musli (Mega Leks, round 23, index 40), Alen Omić (Union Olimpija, round 24, index 40) and guess who is the third one... Nikola Jokić who collected 40 index points in the round 6, in the match between Mega Leks and Zadar.
Talented power forward played 24 out of 26 games in ABA League, and only three times he failed to reach double figures in valuation column! He collected 4 MVP of the round awards in the process, while the last one came in the final round of the season in which he collected 39 index points. That performance helped him to jump over his teammate Nenad Miljenović on the overall MVP standings.
Speaking about the overall MVP standings, Nikola Jokić finished on the 1st spot with 527 index points, which is 22 per game! The second place belongs to Nenad Miljenović (Mega Leks) who collected 521 index points, 21,71 per game, while Josip Sobin (Zadar) is at the third spot with 467 index points, 19,46 per game
Also, it is worth mentioning that the hero of our story is also the best rebounder of the league! Jokić grabbed 222 rebounds in the season, which is 9,25 per game!
