Union Olimpija signs Marko Marinovic

Union Olimpija Ljubljana signed one-year deal with Serbian playmaker Marko Marinović (185 cm, 1983) who arrives from Radnički Kragujevac. Marinović was one of the best playmakers in last year's edition of EuroCup, where he averaged 12.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game. His stats in Adriatic League were 13.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game. He also led Serbian League in assists with an average 12.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game. Before signing with Union Olimpija, Marinović played for clubs such as Borac Čačak, Reflex Belgrade, Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, Radnički Kragujevac, Levski Sofia, Enisey Krasnoyarsk, Krasnie Krilya Samara, Valencia, Menorca, Girona and Alba. He won Adriatic League in 2006, Fiba EuroCup in 2007 and Uleb EuroCup in 2010. Marinović was also member of Serbian National Team at the World Championship 2006 in Japan.
