Metalac received the ABA League wild card
The team will take the place of KK Radnički
In the forthcoming days ABA League Board and KK Metalac will conduct conversations and consultations with a goal for all the necessary requirements for KK Metalac to participate in the competition in 2014/15 season, to be fulfilled. The contract between the two parties has to be signed by 10 September.
In case KK Metalac fulfills all the necessary requirements, it will take the place of KK Radnički, which had with great regret, formally notified ABA League Board, that it is not able to participate in the competition in 2014/15 season.
Wild card, which KK Radnički did not take advantage of, was returned for free consideration to ABA League Board, which set a priority for the new participant to be Serbian as well.
Taking into account the protection of regularity and interest of the competition, the ABA League Board awarded the wild card to KK Metalac.
ABA League Board would like to expresses its gratitude to all the clubs, that have shown their great desire to become ABA League members.
