„The new hall is a big thing for MZT Skopje Aerodrom, ABA League, basketball and sports in general. It is a modern, highly functional building which guarantees great delight both for fans and the clubs. I am highly convinced that all the guests of this arena will enjoy their time spent here. Also, it is of vast importance that with the new hall, MZT is returning home, to Aerodrom Municipality, which will for sure contribute to even higher attendance at their home games in ABA League," Lisac told after the ceremony.
„Municipality of Skopje and Republic of Macedonia got the new sporting facility, which will enable the clubs, that will use it, to be successful. The new hall offers excellent practicing conditions, as well as great conditions for organizing matches, both domestic and international," added MZT Skopje Aerodrom general manager Vidoja Sekulovski.
The capacity of the big hall, which will also, besides MZT Skopje Aerodrom, be the home of men's and women's handball club Vardar Skopje, will be 6,500 fans and besides the sports hall, the beautiful facility includes another, smaller hall, with the capacity of 1,000 fans, fitness gym, multifunctional gym for various practices like aerobics, pilates and martial arts, congress centre and hotel, which even increases it's functionality. The first official basketball game in the arena will take place in the beginning of October, when MZT will host Zadar in the second round of ABA League regular season.
