Partizan Belgrade inks top prospect Salic

Partizan mt:s agreed to terms with one of the most talented young centers in the region, Djoko Salic, on a multi-year deal. Salic (2.10 meters, 18 years old) last played for Spars 05 Sarajevo, which he led to the Nike International Junior Tournament finals last season at the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in London. He was named to the All-Tournament Team in London after leading the competition in scoring with 19.3 points per game and in rebounding with 13.7 boards per game. He has also been a fixture on the summer circuit with the Serbian junior national teams. He is currently in Prague at the FIBA Under-19 World Championships and won a bronze medal last summer at the U-18 European Championships. At Partizan Salic will look to join a long list of elite big men that developed under Coach Dusko Vujosevic.
