JR Smith and his Zhejiang Chouzhou Golden Bulls lost today against Guangsha in the 32nd round of Chinese Basketball Association and are mathematically out of playoffs. JR Smith scored today 32 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
The news means that JR Smith will be able to return to the NBA when the regular season ends, in two rounds, on February 15.
Wilson Chandler and his Guangsha reached the postseason, along with Guangdong where Aaron Brooks is playing and Patty Mills' Xinjiang.
Other former NBAers out of playoffs mathematically are Josh Powell and Rodney Carney with Liaoning.
