Kenyon Martin inks in China with Xinjiang Guanghui
Il giocatore firma il contratto più ricco nella storia della CBA
Kenyon Martin, as reported by Denver Post, signed a one year deal in China with Xinjiang Guanghui. The forward signed the largest contract in CBA history, as reported by Denver Post.
"It's a great opportunity for him to stay in shape and stay fresh," said Andy Miller, Martin's agent to Denver Post. "And it also gives him an opportunity to expand his name globally."
Martin has an 11-year career in NBA where he has played 654 games averaging 13.5ppg, 7.2rpg, 2.1rpg, 1.2spg and 1.2bpg.
As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski, Martin will earn around $2.65M per the entire season in China.
Martin is the last one from a long list of players who left Denver in the postseason. Before him, Ty Lawson signed in Lithuania with Zalgiris Kaunas (with NBA out), Timofey Mozgov signed in Russia with Khimki Moscow (with NBA out), Danilo Gallinari returned to Olimpia Milano (with NBA out), Wilson Chandler and JR Smith signed in China (without NBA out) and Nene opted out. Also Melvin Ely is in talks with a Chinese team since weeks.
