JR Smith close to penning a deal with Shanxi
Il free agent firmerebbe il contratto più ricco nella storia della CBA
As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, free agent JR Smith is close to penning a rich contract in China with Shanxi. The player of Denver Nuggets would gain more than $3M with the Chinese team but he won't be able to return to the NBA when the lockout ends (the Federation is no longer signing NBA players who want opt-out clauses to return to the NBA prior to the end of the China season. China’s season runs through March.)
In seven seasons in NBA, JR Smith is averaging 12.5ppg. He would be the second player from Nuggets to sign in China after Wilson Chandler who inked recently with Zhejiang Guangsha.
