The team in Urumqi snatched the player from Beijing Ducks
Xinjiang Flying Tigers show the power of the money. The team in Urumqi snatched forward Li Gen from Beijing Ducks with an incredible offer: three-year $4.9 million.
Li Gen was interested in staying with the team with he won two CBA titles, but Beijing can't match such a big offer. Xinjiang made a first offer some weeks ago ($1.200.000 per year) and put the first doubts in the player.
There's still not the official announcement, but Li Gen is heading to Urumqi and will play with Andray Blatche in Xinjiang next season.
