Lebanon names Veselin Matic National Team head coach
Matic is the new head coach of Lebanese NT
Veselin Matic has been appointed as head coach of Lebanon National Team.
As reported by Lebanese Basketball, Matic coached the Iranian national team from 2009 till 2012 where he won the 2009 FIBA Asia Championship and lead the team in the 2010 world championship. He was also the assistant coach of the Yugoslavian national team that won the 2002 FIBA world championship. Matic also was the head coach of Sagesse for a short period in the 2008-09 season.
