Joe Bryant is the new head-coach of the Fukuoka Rizing

As reported by Ed Odeven, Joe Bryant, Kobe's father, is the new head-coach of BJ League team Fukuoka Rizing. Bryant is scheduled to return to the sideline for the Western Conference club’s next home series, Jan. 17-18, against the Shimane Susanoo Magic.

Bryant has already coached in Japan from 2007 to 2011.
