Jiangsu Dragons finalized deal with Jarrid Famous
The team signs the second foreigner
Former Memphis Grizzlies power-forward/center Jarrid Famous reached an agreement for a one year deal with Chinese team Jiangsu Dragons. The player will play with Toney Douglas. Jiangsu is projected to contend for the CBA playoffs next year.
The team evaluated Hassan Whiteside before choosing Famous and considered the former Kings unsuitable for the roster. So Whiteside decided to go to Grizzlies' training camp.
Famous comes from Tadamon (Lebanon), where last season he averaged 19.7 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.
