Beijing Ducks targeting Qingpeng Zhang

Beijing Ducks are looking with interest to former Xinjiang Flying Tigers point-guard Qingpeng Zhang, acording to Chinese media. The 2014 CBA Champions need to find experienced players to complete the roster for next season, using the little cap space remaining after the big contract agreed with Sun Yue (5 years $5.7 million).

Last season Qingpeng Zhang averaged 3.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. The player is still talking with Xinjiang for a contract extension, but the deal with the Ducks isn't far.
