Nikoloz Tskitishvili signs with Byblos
The Georgian moves to Lebanon
Byblos Sporting Club (Lebanese Pepsi LBL) signed experienced 34-year old Georgian international power forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili. He already started the season at Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgian Superleague. In two games he had 12.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.5spg and 1.0bpg this season. The last season Tskitishvili played at Al-Manama (Premier League) in Bahrain. He helped them to win the league title and the Supercup.In 2002 Tskitishvili was drafted by Denver Nuggets (NBA) as #5 pick overall.The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Import of the Year in 2015.Tskitishvili has been also a member of Georgian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Georgian senior team since 2000 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2001.Tskitishvili also represented Georgia at the European Championships in Slovenia four years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 2.6ppg, 2.0rpg.Tskitishvili is quite experienced player. He has played in nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Tskitishvili has played previously professionally in China (Sturgeons), Greece (Panionios), Iran (Mahram and Chemidor), Italy, Japan (Tochigi Brex), Russia, Spain (Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and Gipuzkoa), NBA (LA Clippers) and Lebanon (Champville).
