Free-agent power forward Lavoy Allen is signing a deal in China with the Zhejiang Bulls, according to David Pick. The former NBA second-round pick will replace Jarnell Stokes, who is likely to leave the team.
Allen, 28, has spent six seasons in the NBA with Philadelphia and Indiana, averaging 4.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in 17.8 minutes per game. This will be his second stint overseas since he briefly played in France with Strasbourg during the 2011 NBA lockout.
Stokes, a former NBA G League MVP, has averaged 28.2 points, 13.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks over 32.5 minutes per game in China this season.
