American guard Sam Cassell Jr. has signed a deal in Mexico with Halcones Obregon of the CIBACOPA league, according to Andrew Bernucca of FanSided.
The undrafted rookie out of Iona played five games in the last NBA Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 6.6 points in 15.4 minutes. In his senior year in college, he averaged 10.9 points and 3 assists per game.

Sam Cassell Jr has signed with Halcones Obregon in Cibacopa for the season, according to a source. Cassell averaged 10.91ppg and 3apg in his senior year at Iona.
