. of the playing time will be shared between Singler and Gigi. Thus, I predict about 15-20 in playing time for Datome initially, save the fact that Gigi excels during the summer workouts. My personal opinion is that Gigi will need to adjust right away to the much more farther 3pt line and start adding some weight. The most glaring need Pistons have is perimeter shooting, he needs to understand that. It looks like he has above average athleticism but limited lateral movement. He's only 25 and should be able to improve in those areas and produce right away. If that's the case he'll have a very bright future. We are already talking a lot about him. Hi guys We know we're getting a very good player in Datome. All I can say is that Pistons need a shooter badly, if Gigi can provide those numbers he had in the last years with Virtus he'll have a huge contract after 2 years. Pistons are becoming a defensive force with Knight, Smith, Monroe and Drummond that will make up for Gigi's shortcomings in defense. Given his height and age I predict Datome to be a steal for the Pistons. He needs to improve his defense slightly and add a few extra pounds to compete with bigger 3's in NBA. If that happens and Gigi keeps his magic shooting stroke Pistons will contend for at least a 4 or 5th playoff berth this year and East Conference the next. What a signing Pistons got! FORZA PISTONS!
