Portland sceglierà al N.23 nel primo giro del prossimo NBA Draft

Il prezzo dei Timberwolves, però, è ancora troppo alto

Gli highlights della performance del rookie sloveno
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson drew praise from Suns general manager Ryan McDonough after his workout on Thursday. "He's not afraid to take on a defensive challenge," McDonough said. "He feels like he can guard multiple positions. He's certainly capable of doing that in the NBA. He's also not afraid to talk. He's one of the more loquacious guys we've had in, over the past couple years." Hollis-Jefferson is an elite defender and a phenomenal athlete, but his jump shot does leave a lot to be desired. It's possible that he could sneak into the lottery, and he will have a couple more weeks to showcase his talents before the draft. The Suns have the No. 13 pick in the lottery, so it's possible that Hollis-Jefferson could be a candidate. Source: The Arizona Republic

Willie Cauley-Stein has reportedly added 22 pounds of muscle and his vertical is up to 42 inches. Stein has always been known as an incredible athlete, and this news will obviously boost his stock moving forward. The Knicks are expected to bring Stein in for a workout on June 16, and Phil Jackson has previously said that he would like to acquire a defensive-minded big man. Stein is pretty much a lock to go in the lottery, and he has the potential to be a dominant force on the defensive end for many years to come. Source: SNY.tv
Cameron Payne has reportedly declined a workout with the Bucks. Payne has been rumored to be in the mix for the Kings with the No. 6 pick in the draft, while the Pacers (No. 11) and Thunder (No. 14) are also said to be seriously considering him. Milwaukee holds the No. 17 pick in the draft, so Payne and his agent must feel pretty confident that he will be a lottery selection. Payne averaged 20.3 points, 6.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 2.5 3-pointers and 1.8 steals during his sophomore campaign at Murray State, and he has enough talent to contribute on a NBA team right away. Cameron Payne has workouts scheduled with the Lakers and Knicks according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports. The Lakers have the No. 2 pick in the draft while the Knicks hold No. 4, so this is definitely a surprise. The Lakers and Knicks may just be doing their due diligence by bringing him in for a workout, but Payne's stock has been on the rise. Other teams rumored to be interested in the Murray State point guard include the Kings (No. 6), Pacers (No. 11) and Thunder (No. 14). Source: Marc J. Spears on Twitter
