Benetton Treviso have added the keystone to their already formidable structure with the signing (for two seasons) of Lithuanian Donatas Motiejunas. The 7’0” Lithuanian is considered to be one of the best young talents in the world. He will only turn 19 years old in September but is already considered to be one of the top picks in the 2010 NBA Draft or when he decides to enter the draft. The lefty is a versatile player that has consistency and range in his shooting and ball-handling skills to play power forward and at times small forward but has the toughness and size to play the center spot.
The forward averaged last season 19.9ppg and 7rpg in Lithuania with Aisciai Kaunas and 15.9ppg and 5.2rpg in Baltic League (Challenge Cup).
