LegaBasket announced the awards for the Italian Serie A regular season 2008/09. Terrell McIntyre (Siena) won for the second time MVP award.

Andrea Capobianco (Teramo) is the Coach of the Year, Luigi Datome (Virtus Roma) is the best Italian Under 22 while Ferdinando Minucci, for the third consecutive year is the Executive of the Year.
