The forward returns to Italy where he has played with Pistoia, under Vincenzo Esposito, new head coach of Sassari.
Petteway spent last season with Nanterre 92 and PAOK Thessaloniki where he posted 11.2 points per game, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
