Inter Bratislava defeats Komarno for the 2017 SBL title
Bratislava back on top in Slovakia after the success in 2014
Inter Bratislava won the Slovakian championship number 4 beating in the final series (4-1) the 2016 finalists of Rieker Komarno.
Bratislava, second best team in RS (29-11) played a really great post-season, with the 4-1 win in semifinal against the 2016 champions of Prievidza. Rieker Komarno eliminated the best team of the regular season (Kosice) but had another defeat in the championship finals.
The new champions started with 3 victories the decisive series, the opponents had a last blow in game-4 but the 94-82 results of game-5 assigned to Inter the 2017 trophy.
Not enough for Komarno the efforts of Vuk Djordjevic, against the experience of Bratislava, dragged by the the veteran Radoslav Rancik, who closed the finals with 19.6ppg and 6.0rpg.
