Nizhny Novgorod inks Tomislav Zubcic
The deal is official
BC NN made an agreement with Croatian center and power forward Tomislav Zubcic (211cm, 110kg, 26 y.o.). He started the season in Avtodor Saratov, participated in six games in VTB League, averaging 11,8 points; 5,2 rebounds and 2 assists. The contract with Nizhny runs until the end of the season.
26-year old Zubcic played for BC Lietuvos Rytas in the second half of the 2012-13 season. In 2014-2015 joined Cedevita Zagreb and won the Croatian championship, Croatian Cup and advanced to the Adriatic league final. His average statistics in Euroleague were 9,5 points, 5,5 rebounds and 1,0 steals for 22,1 minutes. In 2015-2016 he joined Oklahoma City Blue, affiliate team of the NBA club Oklahoma City Thunder, where he gathered 7,8 points, 4,8 rebounds and 1,4 assists.
