Latvian prospect Davids Viksne is in critical condition due to a gas explosion in his apartment, according to several reports.
The player born in 2000 recently shined at the Under 18 European Championship in Latvia where he averaged 4.9 points per game.
Latvia ended the competition in second position losing to Serbia in the finals.
