Holon signed Paul Delaney

Guard Paul Delaney (23, 1.86) is the third foriegn player of Hapoel Holon for 09/10 after John Thomas and Mark Sanchez.

Delaney's third year in UAB was great with 15.6 pts, 4.8 reb and 5.2 assists per game in more than 37 minutes per evening.

In the begining of the 4th year he jot injured in his knee and was red-shirted. In his 5th year he came back and registered 16.1 pts, 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

Delaney is a great penetrator with athlticism and power but despite his position on court (SG) he is not a good outside shooter and probably that's what kept him out of the NBA draft despite a very good performance in the Portsmouth pre-draft Camp.
