EuroLeague Creators Project brings influencers from different backgrounds to Final Four

The crew of EuroLeague influencers hails from far and wide, including Australia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Turkey and the United States

The social media reach of the 2018 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four will surely be greater than ever before thanks to a host of influencers from around the world who will descend upon Belgrade ready to bring all that’s special about the best weekend in basketball to tens of millions of their followers.

The crew of EuroLeague influencers hails from far and wide, including Australia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Turkey and the United States, and come from varied backgrounds, including gaming, comedy, trick shots, music and, of course, basketball. Among the best-known social media influencers set to follow the passion of Final Four weekend from up close are one of Turkey’s biggest YouTubers, Enes Batur, who has 7.2 million YouTube subscribers; and one of Germany’s most popular influencers, Simon Desue, who has 6.6 million followers on Facebook.

Two of the best trick shot artists on YouTube will provide and share their unique skills. The How Ridiculous trio from Australia will attend their second straight Final Four in partnership with Turkish Airlines, while Delantero09 arrives from Spain. Another Spaniard, Jeyx, brings his brand of sports-themed entertainment and Greek comedian Jeremy will deliver the magic of the Final Four to young fans in Greece.

Euroleague Basketball has been working with social media influencers throughout the 2017-18 season in a program called the EuroLeague Creators Project, which is designed to look at the EuroLeague through the eyes of young, online creators with a shared love for basketball. The project's goal is to help develop EuroLeague content to the tastes and behaviors of millennial and Gen Z fans.
