Brand Playing With Hand Fracture

Elton Brand has played nearly a month with a fracture in his left hand.

Brand has continued to play through the injury while the Sixers are still competing for playoff position.

“It still bothers him,” Philadelphia’s president Rod Thorn said. “He’s had trouble for the last month trying to catch balls. There’s no complaints about it from him."

Brand, his teammates Thaddeus Young and Andre Iguodala and Doug Collins are considered the main catalysts in the Sixer’s revitalization this season.
