Bulls, Pelicans still in 'advanced discussions' on Nikola Mirotic trade

The Chicago Bulls and the New Orleans Pelicans have not finalized yet the trade involving forward Nikola Mirotic, but they are still in advanced discussions on that deal, according to K.J. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.
Nikola Mirotic holds a no-trade clause in his contract and if the Chicago Bulls don't pick up his $12.5 million team option before finalizing the trade, the two teams will need the player to agree so Chicago can send him to New Orleans, as ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski notes.
