Turkey issued an arrest warrant for Enes Kanter

As reported by the pro-Erdogan newspaper Dailysabah, Turkey has issued an arrest warrant for NBA player Enes Kanter on Friday morning, accusing him of being a member of a terrorist organization. The warrant was issued by a judge after an investigation opened up by an Istanbul prosecutor. Everything is linked to the support that Enes Kanter showed via social media to Fethullah Gulen after the failed coup happened in July of last year in Turkey. Erdogan's government believes that Fethullah Gulen was the real creator of the coup and the leader of a terrorist movement. 

The arrest warrant refers to Kanter's alleged use of an encrypted messaging application called Bylock, Sabah said, which Turkey claims was especially created for Gulen supporters.
