Doc Rivers goes off when he's asked if he considered running the clock down for the final shot down

Doc Rivers refutes claim of poor clock management, calls it ‘the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard’

NBA

Per Clutch Points,
reporters asked Clippers head coach Doc Rivers if he considered running down the clock for the final shot when down two points with 18.7 seconds left in the game.
Chris Paul tied the game with 13 seconds left and the Jazz had last possession with Joe Johnson who hit the game winning buzzer beater.

Who would do that?” Rivers asked, shocked to hear the question. “That makes no sense. That is like, the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”

“When you’re down two, you try to score. You don’t wait. You score. If you can score in one second, you score. You always do that. And if you can find another coach to tell you different, I want to meet him.”
