Carmelo Anthony to meet Phil Jackson: I would love to be back but I want to win

Carmelo Anthony may have played his last game with the Knicks in win against the 76ers.
Carmelo Anthony will have a meeting in the upcoming days with president Phil Jackson, GM Steve Mills and coach Jeff Hornacek to talk about his future.

Anthony was close to being traded during the February’s deadline but at the end he remained with the Knicks but the franchise may try to trade him also this summer but considering that Melo has the final word owning a no-trade clause in his contract.

Per ESPN,  Carmelo Anthony knows there is a possibility the Knicks could again look to trade him this offseason. "They might," he said after the Knicks' season finale on Wednesday. "They might."

Anthony will meet with Knicks president Phil Jackson, general manager Steve Mills and head coach Jeff Hornacek on Thursday to discuss his future as part of traditional player exit meetings.
Anthony said he would "love" to remain in New York but wants to make sure that the club is committed to winning next season
"If everybody's committed to [winning], I'm committed to that too," Anthony said. "I want to win, and hopefully everybody else has that same type of mindset."

"I'm pretty sure the organization has an idea, a thought of what they want to do, how they want to do it. But at this point, it's all on me."
