Pelicans will try to keep Jrue Holiday in free agency

Jrue Holiday will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and will definitely receive offers from several teams but the Pelicans definitely want him back next season. During an interview, coach Alvin Gentry stressed the fact that Holiday is a key player for the team and he wants him back next season:

"I’m sure Dell will spend time with him, but I don’t really have to say that,” Gentry said. “I mean, good God, he’s very much a part of what we need and what we’ll try to do. That goes without saying. I don’t think that even has to be discussed on my part"
