Anthony takes shot at Hornacek: When teams make adjustments we’re still playing the same way
Carmelo Anthony takes veiled shot at Jeff Hornacek after Knicks fall apart late and lose to 76ers, 105-102
After loss to the 76ers, Carmelo Anthony took a veiled shot at Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek.
Per NY Daily News, Anthony then said the Knicks, who have collapsed down the stretch of several games this season, aren’t adjusting the offensive gameplan accordingly. The implication was that they’re getting outcoached. It could also be a dig at the triangle, the system Anthony still refuses to call by name.
“We play the same way throughout the course of the game,” Anthony said. “And when teams make adjustments we’re still playing the same way as teams make those adjustments defensively.”
