Chris Paul expected to demand a five-year max deal at the end of the season
He has an early termination option on his contract
At the end of this season Chris Paul could opt-out of his deal and becoming an unrestricted free-agent. As noted by Zach Lowe of ESPN in his latest piece, Paul is expected to demand a five-year full max deal to re-sign with the Clippers, or at least the best contract possible that would be avalaible after the entrance of the new CBA.
Clippers will have a very busy summer next year because also Blake Griffin may opt-out of his deal and J.J. Redick will be an unrestricted free-agent.
