Dennis Schroder unlikely to sign a contract extension by October's deadline
He's expected to become a restricted free-agent next summer
As reported by Marc Stein of ESPN, German point-guard Dennis Schroder is unlikely to sign a contract extension with the Hawks before October 31st. Hawks want to see how Schroder will react to his new role of starting PG before committing too much money on a new contract.
If Schroder won't sign a contract extension by October 31st, he'll become a RFA at the end of the season.
