Bucks are working to re-sign Steve Novak

He's an unrestricted free-agent

NBA

As reported by Gery Woelfel, the Milwaukee Bucks are working to re-sign veteran forward Steve Novak. The player signed with the Bucks back in February, after been waived by the Nuggets, but he played only three games with the team, then he suffered a knee injury that sidelined him for the rest of the season.

Right now Novak is an unrestricted free-agent but he's not considering offers from other teams because he wants to stay in Milwaukee, as confirmed by his agent Mark Bartelstein: 'But we’re still talking with the Bucks and, hopefully, we’ll make a deal with them.

“Steve would love to stay in Milwaukee. It’s a very special place for him.’’
