Mavs reportedly close to re-sign Dwight Powell

According to Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News, restricted free-agent Dwight Powell is close to re-sign with the Dallas Mavericks. Powell, going into his third NBA season, averaged 5.8 points and four rebounds in 14.4 minutes last year, playing 14.4 minutes per game.

It's unknown what the terms of a new deal would be, but given the marketplace, Powell could be in line for a deal starting in the $5 million range.
