Clippers will try to convince Durant to join them and form 'Big-Four' with Paul, Griffin and Jordan

They'd love to form a Big Four force in LA

NBA

As reported by Arash Markazi and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, the Los Angeles Clippers will try to convince Kevin Durant to join them and form 'Big-Four' with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. The 'Big-Three' of the Clippers will be attending the meeting with KD and will try to persuade him to join the team.

The Clippers would have to renounce their rights to their free agents -- Austin, Rivers, Jeff Green and Jamal Crawford -- find a trade for JJ Redick, and Durant would have to be willing to accept slightly less than a maximum salary this year.

To demonstrate their commitment to keeping Griffin, Jordan and Paul, as Doc Rivers said publicly after the season, sources said the Clippers invited all three players to attend their meeting with Durant.
