Morey doesn't know when Rockets can bring Zhou Qi since he has contract in China
Zhou Qi has been selected with the 43rd overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft
The Houston Rockets have selected Zhou Qi with the 43rd overall pick of the NBA Draft.
The Chinese forward may remain in CBA next season having him a contract with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers.
Rockets GM Daryl Morey is not sure when the Rockets can bring him to the NBA.
Per The Houston Chronicle, "Zhou Qi, speaking of upside, has as high of upside as anyone in the draft. He's a skilled, high basketball IQ player. Can shoot the ball, rebound the ball, block shots. Very mobile for his size. When he makes the NBA, he will have top two or three wingspan in the league. We're very excited he was available with our second pick."
Morey said he has not yet discussed whether Zhou would stay in China with his agent. At 7-2, 210, Zhou likely will need time to fill out and gain strength to go with his length.
