Tom Thibodeau has strong interest in full-control position with Timberwolves
Timberwolves offered him both head-coach and president of basketball operations positions
As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski in his latest piece, former Bulls head-coach Tom Thibodeau has strong interest in the job offered by the Timberwolves. With Minnesota Thibodeau could become both head-coach and president of basketball operations, receiving full controll of the front-office, a thing that Thibs never had in Chicago where Paxson and Forman strongly leaned against him.
The lure of hiring his own general manager and constructing a contender around Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins has turned Thibodeau increasingly aggressive in pursuit of the job.
