Sam Hinkie on Dario Saric: He’s very excited to begin his NBA career

Philadelphia 76ers GM Sam Hinkie said that Dario Saric can’t wait to begin his NBA career.

Per Philadelphia 76ers official website, Sam Hinkie on Dario Saric: “I think he’s very excited to begin his NBA career. We’re in frequent communication with him. It’s not a full-time job, but it’s a part-time job for a lot of us, including me. He’s delayed his NBA career, and I don’t think is going to want to delay it a whole lot longer. He’s one of the best players in the world not playing in the NBA. Most people want to scratch that itch and measure yourself and see where you stack up against the best players in the world.”


The GM of the 76ers also added that the franchise will be very aggressive in the next free agency.

Per CBS Philly, Sam Hinkie on free-agency: “We haven’t invested in a big way in that yet, but we have put ourselves to be in a spot as good a cap position as any team in the league. And I think we’ll be more aggressive this summer than we have in the past. We may end up going out and spending 10x or 15x than we have in the last three years combined.”
