Sixers head coach Brown is trying Alexey Shved at point guard

Brown said he is trying Russian Alexey Shved, who was acquired in the Thaddeus Young trade, at point guard and wants to continue taking a look at Shved there. The 6-foot-6 Shved spent a lot of time at shooting guard with the Timberwolves.
Brown watched Shved play the point for Russia in the 2012 Olympics and it piqued his curiosity. Casper Ware handled the point for the other unit during Tuesday’s session, according to the coach.
