Timberwolves' Ricky Rubio to become "face of franchise"
The post-Love has started and the Spanish point-guard will reinforce his position in Timberwolves' hierarchy.
Kevin Love is heading to Cleveland and, even if the deal won't be official yet for at least two weeks, the Timberwolves are working to select the new "face of franchise", that will likely be Spanish point-guard Ricky Rubio, according to Jerry Zgoda:
@Marty2634 and even then, Ricky will be face of the franchise, for now

Rubio's agent Dan Fegan is working to find an agreement with Flip Saunders for a contract extension. Rumors around the situation reported he asked a five-year max contract for his client ($84.789.500), but Timberwolves' president of basketball operations does not seem willing to satisfy his demands. Parts will talk again, when the trade for Love will be official (Wolves will receive Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a 2015 protected first round pick via Miami) and all the pieces of the new roster will be in the right place.
