The Heat never let it get to that point, defeating the Indiana Pacers 117-92 Friday in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals. The Heat won the best of seven series 4-2 and will play the San Antonio Spurs or Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals.
The No. 2 seeded Heat avoided a Game 7 in Indianapolis by easily dispatching of the Pacers. Miami led for the majority of the way behind 25 points, six assists and four rebounds from forward LeBron James.
The Pacers were led by Paul George's 29 points and eight rebounds. Forward David West added 16 points.
