Tyronn Lue sells his Vegas house, is he ready for New York?

He's working with the Clippers

NBA

Tyronn Lue to New York is anything but a done deal, but he is on the move after selling his home in Las Vegas for $1.65 million.

The retired NBA guard and current Los Angeles Clippers coach is rumored to be on Phil Jackson’s short list of candidates to replace the fired Mike Woodson as head coach of the New York Knicks. Fellow Jackson disciples and Los Angeles Lakers alums Luke Walton and Derek Fischer are also expected to receive consideration for the position.

Records show that Lue paid $1.5 million for the property in December 2008.

Lue, 37, played 11 seasons in the NBA, including three seasons with the Lakers, where he was a part of two championship teams. He joined the Clippers as an assistant coach this past year after spending three seasons with the Boston Celtics as the director of basketball development.

Florence Shapiro of Shapiro & Sher Group was the listing agent. Darren Bryan of Realty One Group represented the buyer in the sale.
